"Citizens Commision of Enquiry" exposes French Involvement in Rwandan Genocide

The "Citizens Commision of Enquiry" put together by a couple of civil society organizations to investigate the role played by France in the Rwandan Genocide have made public their very dramatic provisionary report. The report has expose French Involvement both in planing and carrying out of the genocide as well as hiding the perpetuators of the genocide. This has gone to confirm information that was available for months now that the French were training members of the forces that carried out the genocide in bases in Central African Republic with plans to send them back to overthrow the government in Rwanda in what some famous French journalist, diplomats and policy makers call "their fight against anglo-American explansion into their sphere of influence.

When the Commision of Enquiry put together by the French Parliament to investigate the Rwandan genocide released it's report after long months of waiting, it was immediately clear the respected members of the august house were more interested in hiding French's role in the genocide that investigating it. Almost all questions one would expect investigators to ask in such an enquiry were never asked:

1. How much did the French Know about plans for the genocide before it all began??
2. How much did the French know about what was going on during the time the genocide was actually going on and what did they do??
3. How did French troops send to ostensibly stop the genocide let ALL those who masterminded and executed the genocide to escape??
4. How about news of French troops siezing guns from genocidal militia on camera only to give them back to the militia when the cameras were turned-off??
5. How high up the French government were the officials aware about the fact that radio-mille collins a station built with resources provided by France and in which the French provided training for the entire staff was going to be used (and was) used as the main communication tool for animating and coordinating the genocide.??

And so on....

Oh! The French parliamentarians were not interested about that. They spent precious time finding out who shot-down the plane of the dictator whose friends had started preparing the genocide months before; and who used the excuse of the plane shotting to butcher more than 800,000 souls in three months.
The French Parliamentarians spent another couple of hours trying to figure-out who trained and equipt the rebels who finally stopped the genocide by fighting the militia. According to the upside down logic of one French Parliamentarian involved in the Parliamentary Commision; the investigation has really helped throw more light on what really happen there(Rwanda). Instead of the terrible (guilty) feeling at the time of the genocise .
